Hey all you happy people!!
My birthday's in two days--TWO DAYS!! WHEE!!
Yeah...So, I don't know if I should be excited about turning 17...If you think about it, it's not really that significant. I guess I'm not really that excited...Maybe it's just the prospect of being a little bit older. I kinda wish I was 25. That would be fun. I'd be in university if I were 25.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm looking foreward to university. I find that school has a really great atmosphere...Not as great as a green room, but still... :)
Just so you know, green rooms (you know, the little back room where all the actors get ready to go onstage) has a great atmosphere!! Lately, acting, for me, has become less something I think is cool and wish I were good at and more something that I love and actually kinda am good at! It's SOO COOL! I dunno about any of my other fellow thespians, but I get this weird sugar high-ish thing after the final curtain call's taken...I was involved in a one act play festival a little while ago (in which I got to be 60 years old and English), met some great people who I loved working with, no matter how closely that was, and after every performance except one, most of the cast would hang out--after two, the younger among us went to Boston Pizza's and ate stuff while the older ones stuck around the place where we performed and had parallel fun. Our final performance was April 7, and it's still sad...I used to spend more time with these people than I did at home, and now, all of a sudden, it's over...And maybe I'm being melodramatic, but it is sad. So, the only thing I can do is become involved in another play. SOOON!!! (it's adicting...)

It's a month after my birthday. Whee!
Anyway, now I have red hair again, but it's a different red! It's dark cherry red now, and it's SOO COOL! Joe bleached his. It looks cool, too :D
Perk of dyeing my hair: I think I scared off someone that I would really rather not associate with!! Seriously! Want more info? If you know the name of this individual, and you e-mail me, I'll let you in on it :)
Involved in another play now--YAY!! My friend Kelsey is directing a play called The Other Cinderella, where Cinderella is a spoiled little brat who doesn't realise how good she's got it, and her step sisters and step mother are really nice. I'm Melissa, one of the sisters, which is funny, 'cuz my oldest sister is named Melissa!! It's SO ammusing!!
