The Conspiracy

"They are the faction. O conspiracy,
Sham'st thou to show thy dang'rous brow by night,
When evils are more free?..."

~Brutus, 2.1.82-84, after telling his servant, Lucius, to let Cassius and the other conspirators in.

Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears! (or rather, your eyes)

As you've no doubt guessed, this page is dedicated to one of Shakespeare's greatest works, Julius Caesar. I was introduced to this play in English 10, and it has thusly remained my favorite (even though Hamlet claims a close second in that area). :)

This website was made for a project in English 20 refered to as a Multi Genre--eight genres, touching on eight aspects, usually of someone's life. I did mine on William Shakespeare, and this is the final genre. The endnote for this is located here.

Okay, so I have some ideas, but not nearly enough! If you have any ideas as to what I should add to this website, please e-mail me!

Was Cassius the True Villain of Julius Caesar? - a less-than-perfect, but not-bad-overall essay discussing the afore-mentioned topic
Characters of Julius Caesar - explainations of characters
The way it should have ended - Call it what you will--I've rewritten history and Shakespeare, and I like it a whole lot better! :)
Links to the Conspiracy - Pages I've used, pages I like, etc.

And when you're finished looking there...
